MISSION

MISSION

What our security provides for you

Tracking

To track the number of people in a room 24/7.

Facial Recognition

Raw collection of faces for those entering in and out of building.

Safety

To ensure overall safety for the general public.

Remote Monitoring

The ability to watch over one's business anywhere at anytime.

THE PROCESS

Four unlikely teammates arrived at ProfHacks with the mindset of learning something new and getting free swag. All jokes aside, we all found one another some way, formed a team and began with an idea from Nick: to invest in smart grid technology. To essentially use light sensors to capture the number of people in a room with the purpose of monitoring fire safety and monitoring security.

After considering the resources we had, decided to use machine learning implemented on facial recognition to recognize faces. To build a portfolio essentially of every individual entering in and out of the room. Ultimately wrote a code that that utilizes a laptop to obtain facial recognition features. Then for the brain, a database was created to understand the data obtained. Scroll down to see how Security Tracker works!
